History
Toledo is an ancient city set on a hill above the plains of Castilla-La Mancha in central Spain.
Regional Information
This wine is made from old Tempranillo bush-vines grown in the province of Toledo in the north of the central Spanish plains at altitudes of around 700 metres. This wine is principally from the Aloyon and Monte vineyards, shallow clay-calcareous soils from the Miocene produce a wine which is concentrated and aromatic

Vinification Details
The grapes are handpicked in the second week of September, with full ripeness, fermented and matured in American oak for two months, this contributes to it's complexity and soft tannins, whilst still allowing the juicy red fruit characters to predominate.
