History
Beefsteak Club is an award-winning wine brand, inspired by 18th century dining clubs which celebrated the beefsteak as a symbol of liberty and prosperity.
Regional Information
From the deepest Douro comes this expertly blended dark red. Douro D.O.C. is one of the oldest regions in the history of wine, dating back more than 250 years. The river meandering through the hills, the superhuman work contained in the thousands of hectares of vineyards, and the myriad of colours reflected at every bend make the Douro unique. This wine comes from the Douro Superior sub-region, where a warmer and drier climate with granite soils creates ripe, powerful, and aromatic age-worthy wines.

Vinification Details
Traditional grapes of the region (Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz) are expertly blended to create this dark red. Grapes were hand-picked and carefully selected, arriving at the winery in small 20kg crates. Fermentation took place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel containers to retain the freshness of the grapes. During the maturation process, the wine was aged in Port barrels for extra richness and complexity.
