History
Cantina Valpolicella Negrar has been producing wine since 1933. Starting with just 6 farmers, today the cooperative is a standard bearer for the region. With 700 hectares of vineyards across the Veronese landscape, Negrar combine tradition with innovation to produce sincere expressions of the region's highly acclaimed wine styles.
Regional Information
Le Preare is named after the ancient quarries where Lessinia stone and prized red marble were extracted to build some of Verona and Venice's famous sculptures and villas. The wines are a true expression of territory, bringing together rich heritage and the latest technology to produce wines of integrity and personality.

Vinification Details
The grapes are picked by hand throughout September and October before being left to dry on rack in drying stores for 4 months. This concentrates the flavours and sugars before the grapes are destemmed for fermentation and 30 day maceration. The wine then spends 24 months in barrel and 6 months in bottle before release.
