Inspired by the fast tempo spinning folk dances of Italy, the Tarantella On Stage spinning top comes with its own concave plate - or stage - for spinning on. This miniature spinning top comes in its own cork stoppered bottle and is level 1 for spinning difficulty, so easy for all to use. In three beautiful shapes and four stripe colour-ways - colours and shapes will be chosen at random. Different locally sourced native woods are used for the plate, with a natural finish for the grain pattern to shine through, so shades may vary. Each plate has an attractive small Mader logo burned onto the front. Sustainably made from native hardwoods by hand in Austria.

Mader spinning tops, yo-yos and skipping ropes are beautifully crafted by hand with the greatest attention to detail. The spinning tops are rated by order of difficulty to spin - from 1 to 6, with 6 being the most challenging. Handcrafted in their workshop in Austria, each spinning tops undergoes up to 20 different processes, from turning, burning, carving and painting- all by hand. Each top is carved from a single piece of sustainably sourced native wood, and are recognisable from the ring burned around their equator, and the beautiful rainbow stripes. Loved by children and grown ups of all ages, you just can’t help but pick them up and give them a spin - be prepared to be mesmerised as they spin for minutes at a time.
